What Branch of Government deals with Violence in Schools?

While searching the web I found out that the Executive Branch deals with the issues that occur in schools when dealing with Violence and the safety of students and teachers. The Department of Education or (ED) Establishes policy for the nation's schools, and administers and coordinates most federal education assistance. Then it goes into the different offices. This is when the Office of Safe and Drug- Free (OSDF) schools comes into play.
